OCN Learning Endeavour Awards 2026

We were fortunate to have been shortlisted for 3 awards in this years OCN Learning Endeavour Awards in the categories Provider of the Year, Health and Wellbeing Learner of the Year and Third Sector Learner of the Year.

These awards are all about recognising learners, tutors, and organisations who’ve gone above and beyond—whether that’s overcoming challenges, achieving qualifications, or making a real impact through learning.

During this event, we heard from OCN’s CEO Martin Flynn and the actor Martin McCann from ‘Blue Lights’ who spoke about how he got into acting and following a path towards success through determination and ambition.

We were absolutely delighted that 2 of our centre users, Tracey Madden who received a highly commended award in the category of Health and Wellbeing Learner of the Year and Christina McAvoy, who won overall winner in the category of Third Sector Learner of the Year, were recognised by the judging panel for their hard work, community learning, overcoming barriers and using learning for creating change.

This recognition validates the hard work which goes in behind the scenes.
